The Al Ahd Today screen: a night-sky counter reading Morning 34 of 40, with the morning window closing soon and the day's recitation ready to play

It is narrated that Imam al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) said:

"Whoever supplicates to Allah for forty mornings with this covenant shall be counted among the helpers of our Qa'im; and should he die before him, Allah will raise him from his grave, and grant him for every word a thousand good deeds, and erase from him a thousand misdeeds."

Bihar al-Anwar, vol. 53, p. 95.

A small practice, kept every morning.

The same few minutes at dawn, repeated. The morning fills the way the moon does, a little more each day.

Recite each morning

Open at dawn and recite along with a full audio recitation, each line lit as it plays. It all works offline.

An honest window

Your city's real Fajr and Dhuhr set the morning window, so reciting in time actually counts.

Watch the 40 fill

A calendar charts every morning. Support that lasts, not a passing gesture: the run of 40 is strict, and your lifetime record never resets.

The practice, on your phone.

Four screens from the app, in the order you meet them.

Two more duas, each on its day.

Dua al-Ahd and the forty mornings remain the heart of the app. Beside them now sit Dua Kumayl and Dua al-Nudba, and more will follow.

Dua Kumayl

Read on Thursday night, as the night of Friday comes in. The dua Imam Ali taught Kumayl ibn Ziyad.

Dua al-Nudba

Read on Friday morning. A dua of longing for the Awaited Imam, may Allah hasten his relief.

Read the same way

Full Arabic, transliteration and translation, with audio that lights each line. Tap a line to jump to it. Each dua keeps its own reminder, works offline after the first play, and shows in the Chronicle.

Renew the covenant this morning.

جدِّد العهد هذا الصباح.
